ya so im a bad curator. i really don't like doing these because there are so many wonderful posts and by singling out just a few it feels like im pooping on others, all of which are equally as lovely and cool.
so i'm just gonna choose the ones that pop that are fairly new, cuz i dont like it when people curate things that i can't updoot myself.. and also the authors that I feel are undervalued. no offense to anyone else who had an ultra cool postie.
Beware of the Expert, by Werner Hornung
these images capture my imagination. i cant say why or how. perhaps it's the muted metallic detail, the moving vision, or the gentle surrealistic eroticism. I'd rather the posts include more process work or explanation, (because i really want to try it myself), but all the same I find this authors work of incredible caliber and highly under-valued.
Fotografías por la Calle | Chacao, Caracas, Venezuela, by ricardomello
while this isnt the best post the author has ever done, I chose it because over a period of time, ricardomello has consistently put out what i feel are meaningful and eye-catching visuals. Venezuelan street scenes come to life for us, in faded colors, recording a culture that is vital yet unseen by many of us. even if you can't read along in spanish, check out the photos!
Stick by What You Believe In! Late Night Notes — Written in Odd Places, by denmarkguy
This particular post drew me in with both the photography and subject matter. Steem ethics are a constant battle in my brain, what is ok, what I should make a stand on when it comes to curation and voting. food for thought.
I want to tell you a story. All about my town..., by keithboone

this post caught my eye because I am always on the lookout for neat places to travel. I'll never get through my unending bucket list, but this post caught my eye as a place that i could possibly visit in my lifetime, since Canada is like northern Washington state. One day i'll win the lottery and go on the road with a camper van. dream on...
I never know quite what to expect from vache. i can usually expect something experimental, electronic or alternative, but beyond that its a crap shoot. and just when i think I've got him pegged he throws in a piano or brass composition. but the real treat is his visual accompaniment. if you've never seen one of his short vids or films, you're missing out.
ok, those are my five pics, hope you found something new that catches your imagination!!!
