This is an application post for potential curie curators.
For those who don’t know about Curie, it’s a community project with the aim of rewarding exceptional post by undervalued authors.
In 17 months of Curie, several changes have been made to the guiding principles of curations and one one the most the recent change is the removal of the Reputation limit. This led to the opening of more posts by persistent and exceptional authors to be curated. Which has lead to the need for more engaged curators.
To learn more about curie you can visit #curie on steemit.chat.
The only way to become a curator currently is to be recommended by a top curator (which I am privileged to be one of this current week). Top curators can recommend only 3 new curators each per week and the top curator's list changes based on curator performance week in week out. You can find the list of top curators in curies weekly update.
Curie Guidelines
- Verified and engaged authors only who have been consistent without much success of late. Focus is on new authors who have made few good posts but haven't been discovered yet. Posts from higher REP authors need to be truly exceptional.

- No Steemit-related, religious, introduceyourself or political posts.
- Submission limits are dictated by curator's performance the previous week, according to these tiers (the numbers below are weekly limits) -

Curator Application
Applicants should get familiar with the current curie rules, visit #curie on steemit.chat and read ALL the pinned messages (You can find them by clicking the pin icon by the right hand of your screen).
Make sure all rules are well read and understood and if otherwise, you can ask for clarification by asking politely on the channel.
After reading and fully understanding the guidelines, applicants should drop a comment with a post they will consider for curie if they were curators. I will evaluate it and determine if applicants should continue with the application process (Private Mentorship).
Aspirants should read this post by the reviewers which talks more about the guidelines and gives you an idea of what curie is looking for.
Curating can be very tasking and will need your full engagement, please don’t apply if you can’t put in your time into it. All curators get a finders fee of $10 steem per post which is more than rewarding enough for your time with the current steem price.
I look forward to working with you soon GOOD LUCK!
