Love to start my day by having long walks through my city Yerevan when the sun warms your body after the winter cold.
Seeing people hurrying to work, elderly people slowly strolling through the narrow paths and walking their pets, or simply catching yourself on a thought how many people will give you a smile back?
Today, was one of those days, when, as usually I took my Lab for a day walk.
Strange thing that I have noticed, were tourist big buses everywhere, around the centre of the city.
I thought, hmmm, is there an event or something that I am not aware of?
What I noticed, that all the buses were from Iran, bringing up tourists to Yerevan.
And then I reminded, that on 20th March, Iran celebrates the New Year.
It's always good to see tourists around, as they have a large input in our incoming tourism and economic growth through their investment.
By the time I've reached one of our national heritage sculptures, the following caught my eye.
Two tourists were standing nearby the culture, laughing at the way it is architected, making dirty jokes, and what especially made every upset, the fact that one of them put a cigarette on the statue mouth and were photographing like that.
Unfortunately, by the time I took my phone, they already put it away.
To say that I'm an ardent patriot would be very pathetic.
But, honestly, when I see these kinds of things happening around, especially when it concerns my nation, my country and my city, it gets me very angry, to the point, that I made an angry remark to them.
Each person should value the city, national heritage and culture they are living in or visiting.
Irrespective whether you like it or not.
I don't even know why I'm sharing this with you here. Kind of a relief, to write down my feelings.
Be always respectful. Irrespective of anything.
Put yourself in other's shoes and see what you will do when see someone acting like this?
