Even though I do have a great deep love for elephants I think that any moneky or primate is definitely going to be second on the list. These are very small animals and according to the wikipedia page i link to below they grow to only 8 inches, so they are VERY cute. I do not know if they are cuddly or if their pesonality is bad to be with people, so I would not try to buy one as a pet, exotic pets often get donated to shelters because their owners did not know what they were in for.

I have never visited south america, where the marmosets are from but they are all over the continent and I believe they also sometimes come to tourist locations where they find a lot of food left over from people visiting. Jungle creatures are very fascinating they live in such a different environment to any animals I see here in my local town.
