The CAT (Cat Appreciation Tokens) is a project by Hive account@catnet (run by Hive account@fraenk). There are three kitten bots roaming on the Steem blockchain and they visit people and give them "cuddles" (upvotes), and leave cute comments. If you hold CAT in your Steem Engine wallet, it will eventually turn into CATnip and attract those three kitten bots.

In order to send CAT tips, you first need to send some CAT to the Hive account@cat.tips account to fill your wallet. Then you can just type !CATtip 25 (or any number of CAT you want to send) in a comment, and Hive account@cat.tips will deliver your tip to the person you're replying to.

You can also type ?catbalance in any comment or post and Hive account@catnet will come and tell you how much CAT you have on Steem Engine, how much of it has turned into CATnip, and how much you have in your Hive account@cat.tips wallet. Because I typed it in this comment, Hive account@catnet will come and reply with my CAT balances.

I typed in daillypetphotography - TYPO, two Ls.

Watch your spelling in hashtags!

I've seen #theluvbug misspelled a lot too. This is one realm were correct spelling matters.
