Good Sunday morning to all fellow dtubers, it’s really time I started to actually connect with some of these other people that I actually watch because I know I’m missing out on some valuable information and ideas and cool projects that people are doing — it’s been really hard to find that create and consume balance again, I used to have a perfectly based create in the morning and consume in the evening setup but recently I’ve just not had the mental energy to process, communicate or jump into conversations like I wish I could.
I used to have a whole cycle of twitter, instagram, facebook, flipboard — some of those would setup my thinking for the morning ‘creation’ schedule as well, kinda like a barometer of what was going on out there in the outside world — when your a freelancer you kinda keep to your own lane a lot.
Personally I had started to save the times of interacting and comms to physical face to face meet ups, they felt a bit more honest anyway because anyone can write or post or curate a picture or a shot or some ‘media’ these days — I much prefer face to face — like last years steemfest 2, I got to meet the people I was meant to meet you know, unexpected, pulled together by just natural forces, I think those ways are the best.
because level seventy feels like ‘time served’
I’m not on the edge of turning 70, I’m kinda buzzed about it, it was always one of those targets that I was aiming at when I started on the steem blockchain and while the REP is kinda broken in some ways because I’ve probably earned more interaction by being a mod I still feel it’s time served, proof of brain on the blockchain, verifying back and forth and helping out where I can — I try and do courses and tips and stuff so that I can provide value but minimise the interactions — I’m torn you see, maybe it’s an age vs time thing, maybe it’s a distraction vs value thing — I’m saving you from me, your saving me from you! :)
I kinda prefer to put things out and if they hit and people react and get back to me I tend to keep a dialog going, if not, no problem I got value out of it and I move forward, like I said, it’s when I’m one to one with a person that I feel the most at ease but I can’t talk water cooler chat, you have to be going to place much more interesting that today ya know? Destinations are important!
So yeah, level 70 is great for many reasons, I’d have gotten a big share of Byteball for instance, double in fact if I was a level 70 at the time of that airdrop, having a reputation of being part of something legacy wise does not always reflect on it’s importance until further down the digital road — it’s yet to come, so it’s nice to mark those checkpoints/waypoints if you will of the digital journey so far.
five hundred hunts my first target (end of the month)
I’ve also coming up very quickly on five hundred hunts on Steemhunt — that was always something that I thought would take me much longer but recently I’ve been changing my whole way I use the platform because I know we have other verticals to come — I’m looking to make a big change there at the start of next year and do something a little different when the next sites come along, I’m still stacking those HUNT tokens but I’m pumped to have a BOOKMARK heavy hunted section on the site — I’ve used so many websites over the years for storing things I find and this feels like home in many ways and I love the main 
one million hunt tokens will take a while yet ;)
Of course the big one would be to have ONE MILLION HUNT TOKENS — I don’t know why I set such a high target tbh especially because even after 3/4 months I’m only a quarter of the way but there you go you have to have targets to aim towards and that’s the one I’ve set for that, if for nothing else I hope they have value on the platform in years to come, it’s not for today, it’s for where I want to be in the years to come — I’d quite happily exist in my bunker somewhere in the world waking up drinking synthetic coffee while my droid tells me the radiation levels for the day. .. . (very MOON sam rockwell framed I might add!)
mspwaves and chat with flauwy
i’ve started to really put saturday evenings on my radar for a lovely show that I tune into on mspwaves. The majority of the content is not for me but I do love 
when it comes to steem and the blockchain and you can see she has a passion for the delivery of it — she understand the huge value the chain has — if you have not tuned in yet, get yaself following mspwaves on twitch — I use a program that refreshes and I get alerts too, I’m not always there but I’ve been trying to tune in.
