Have you ever been in a situation where all you wanted was for everything to be fine and fast? I found myself in that exact place last week, and this experience taught me a powerful lesson.

It’s that time of the season when beauty salons are always buzzing. From hair styling to makeup, nail care, and retouching, everyone wants to look their best for events and daily life. Making people beautiful has always been my passion, and despite the stress, I genuinely enjoy what I do.
After a particularly stressful day at work last week, I noticed a slight pain in my index finger. I ignored it, assuming it was just normal fatigue from making hair all day. But the pain didn’t stop. Instead, it got worse. My finger became swollen, and soon the pain was so intense that I couldn’t touch anything with it let alone work.
At that point, making hair or applying makeup no longer
mattered. All I wanted was my finger back.

I started taking antibiotics and pain relief drugs while cleaning the affected area, hoping the boil would dry up on its own. As the pain persisted, I received several suggestions from people—hot water, lime or orange, and even hypo (a bleaching agent).

I tried soaking it in hot water, but the pain was unbearable. Out of desperation, I decided to try the bleaching agent. Surprisingly, it worked like magic. Within days, I had my finger back.
Today, I’m fully back at work, using my hands again—and deeply grateful.

This experience reminded me that when we keep our problems to ourselves, help may never come. And when we rely only on our own ideas, we limit the solutions available to us. Sometimes, unconventional methods work. Sometimes, asking for help makes all the difference.
