Day 3 - Take the time to read a favorite book, the news, or open your Bible for at least 20min today.
Reading plays a "huge role in how we think, work, record, and remember." "Reading reduces stress even more than music." Whether you're a stay at home mom, full time student, or 8-5 working person, stress can take over our lives and hurt our health. Studies also suggest that we only retain 20% of what we read online since we tend to skim through things. Today, I challenge everyone to not only read for 20 minutes, but try to read a hard copy of something. Reading increases our brain activity, so we never want to stop learning.
How was everyone's Day 2? Were you able to keep yourself from thinking/being negative all day yesterday? Did you feel like your day was better since you only thought about positive things? My day could've been all negative yesterday... right as I was leaving for work, I backed into by trashcan and broke my rearview mirror. Thinking about my daily challenge really helped me to stay positive, and overall I had a really good day yesterday! I felt less stressed, and more focused on things!
