Mama Bird revealed her savage side today for our daily chicken picture. I've been tossing the cicadas that I find into the coop and the big rooster usually gobbles em up in one bite. This morning, Mama Bird beat him to it, and she went nuts! Pecking! Shaking! Stabbing! Smashing! Crushing! I tell you, she is a vicious monster. It was quite entertaining to see.
The kids loved it and they want to give the chickens more bugs every day. Progress!
