In the past....
In the past I’ve been pretty critical of President tRump over a few specific things; one of them has been his ordering of the American flag to half staff for whatever reason he wants too.
Well today is “Flag Day” here in the USA and it finally has hit me. He has every right to tell us how high the flag should be displayed and I have no right to question him or call him out on doing what I think is wrong when it pertains to the flag.
So; my apology to the Jackass Commander in Chief tRump.
Also, I have...
Also, I have some explaining to do for you folks who read the Dash because this seems a little out of character for me to be apologizing for anything; but when I’m wrong - I’m wrong, and I will own up to it.
In order to get the whole picture we have to go back in history to when the flag was created and what is was created for. The “Stars & Stripes” (as the flag is referred too) is the battle flag of the US Army and the Commander of the Army controls what belongs to the army.
So tRump can do whatever he damn well pleases when it comes to flag.
June 14 being...
June 14 being “Flag Day” isn’t just an arbitrary date that was selected for ‘flag day” because nothing else of any consequence took place on that date.
The date was selected because that was the date in 1775 that the US Army was founded on so it makes sense that the date is used.
It would also make sense that the government would tell the people that we aren’t really honoring the flag; we really are honoring the institution that the flag represents.
That really would make more sense but nothing our government tells us should be taken at face value or believed without us doing our own due diligence.
Something that should...
Something that should be taught in schools ( but isn’t) would be that the Stars and Stripes is the battle flag of the US Army.
The United States of America actually had a flag of its own known as the “civilian peace time flag”. The stripes on that flag actually ran vertical and not horizontal like the battle flag of the Army. So what happened to the civilian peace time flag?
When it became apparent that the United States of America could never be at “peace”, due to financial obligations that the government would have to own up to, it was “mothballed”. The flag was put away to never be used again.
I should have...
I should have put two and two together a long time ago and came up with the answer that I have finally realized but I didn’t until today.
I have known we never did end the civil war here and that it ended in an armistice with both sides deciding to stop the fighting, but not agreeing to a treaty of peace.
I have shared that information with you on more than one occasion. I’ve also shared that President Lincoln had declared martial law during that civil war time and it was never rescinded.
So those events...
So those events have left us as a country that is “occupied” and we are occupied and under the control of the US Army with the Commander in Chief tRump.
So when tRump decides he wants the flag lowered to half staff for whatever reason I just need to keep my mouth shut and not say anything about it.
Not only should...
Not only should the schools have taught us that we are living under a military flag and military law they also should have told us that countries or territories under military occupation no longer have any rights afforded them by their constitution.
The evidence of what I am sharing with you is all around you today but we never have been taught to identify it as such.
Let me correct myself; “we never” should be “you never”; but even then it is not a correct statement because I have taught these things in the past.
I just can’t be trusted like the school systems can be; so chances are even if you read those things you would be inclined to dismiss them because I have no degree in education let alone history.
If tRump decides...
If tRump decides to lower flag for George Floyd or Rayshard Brooks he is well within his authority to do so. Even if his pet dog died and decided he wanted the flags lowered for that he could.
As a person living in an occupied military controlled country I just wish that the occupiers would come clean with us and tell us what is really going on here.
I’ve read the field manual “United States Army and Navy Manual of Military Government and Civil Affairs” and nowhere in there did I read that the occupying forces had to be honest with the occupied people.
Granted that the copy I have in my possession is an old version from 1943 but these types of things aren’t changed very often and aren’t easily accessible. If by chance you have a more current copy of this manual I’d love to read it.
For those of you who would like a copy of the one I have just leave me a comment and how you would like me to send it to you in PDF form and I will gladly send it to you so you can read it for yourself.
We are really...
We are really at a disadvantage here in the USA because we think we are living in a free country operating by a constitution when in fact we are not; and to make matters worse we don’t even get a copy of the real rules; the military rules.
Should you decide to get a copy of the manual there are a few terms you need to familiarize yourself with so you will understand just where you fall in the mix; those are ….. enemy , belligerent and citizen.
All of them are handled differently and it would be in your best interest to know how you are being viewed by the occupying forces. Me personally; I would be a belligerent.
I haven’t gotten to the status of enemy; but hey…there is still more life in me so it will remain to be seen.
Until next time,
Sult
