RIP Jade

I started this post several times and never finished it. I did not wish to sound gloomy, but it reflects what I feel and I feel very sad. I lost my beloved dog Jade who passed away yesterday. It feels empty in the house, we are a dog short. I knew she will be gone one day but when this day came it was like loosing a family member, because that is what our pets are - family members. You may say that it is not a big deal, it is just a dog, but for me it was more than that. I remember a friend told me how difficult is to overcome such lost and that she will never have a dog again. Others fill the emptiness by having new pet.
We, on the other side still have the other dog Penny and the cat Furry. But it still hurts seeing the photos of Jade. We will never forget her and will miss her.
