Hold on to the good ones and throw away the rest!
Throughout a lifetime we meet so many different people from so many different walks of life and there is bound to be some good ones in there as well as bad. Sometimes these folks are friends, significant others, associates, acquaintances, drinking buddies or just random people crossing paths with us. There comes a time when certain relationships and situations are either coming to a close or need to come to a close in order for us to progress to our next phase in life.
If you have ever been in the situation where someone has bailed on you, such as a business partner, you know the emotions that can course through your veins. It can be a combination of disbelief, anger, resentment, and so much more, but the thing you quickly realize is that the person that left taught you something you would have never learned otherwise. You are all that you need, you can find someone else to handle the tasks that are out of your sphere of knowledge, you can learn the things that you had been putting off because somebody else had been doing them.
The point is, when someone in your circle leaves and never returns, YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH, and oftentimes are better off. That person was likely a drain on your mental energy even if you may not have realized it. Everyone you may lose in your life and all throughout your lifetime may not be the loss you build it up to be in your irrational head, it could just be a blessing in disguise.
