Dear friends,
it's #danceweekend again!!!
After I made the decision to book my hotelroom for #steemfest2 today, I spent nearly the whole day to find an affordable flight to Lissabon. That was really a difficult task, cause nearly all the booking agencies added some extra-fees during checkout. The cheapest direct flight I was able to spot was > 360 Euros. Argh!
I know, I'm late with my booking and already missed the special steemfest hotel fare, so right before I booked the flight, it came to my mind, that I have this cool Wirex-Credit-Card (Affiliate Link), that can be loaded with Bitcoin and several altcoins. The virtual version of the card is almost free (just a monthly maintenance fee of 1$) and is issued in a matter of minutes (even without verification).
Although I'd like to hold my Steem and Bitcoin, I will have to exchange the SBDs on my account for Bitcoin and then send it to the card account. Hopefully the booking agency will accept the card. I'll keep you updated.
Pow, Boom, Splash!
I really felt some need for dancing after all those research, so I was very happy to find out, that Siriusmo has just released his new single today called “Where Was I?”. The single is from the upcoming album "Comic" and the video is really great. Check it out!
Siriusmo
Primarily, Siriusmo aka Moritz Friedrich is a real survivalist, played in a band for many years and is a fan of old keyboards. As a professional artist (painting, illustration, graffiti) Siriusmo lives off temporary jobs and even does construction work now and then.
Here is another cool video, that is based on the 1987 movie "Three O'Clock High":
Siriusmo "Mosaik" (Three O'clock High)
Siriusmo is obviously influenced by artists like Aphex Twin and Squarepusher. In 2015 he had played festivals from Glastonbury to Sonar together with Modeselektor.
He remixed Moderat, collaborated with synth pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre and contributed to Mr. Oizo’s latest album, who’s also appearing on Comic.
Here is some more of his music wrapped in a strange video:
He also published a large number of remixes, for example, Gossip, Digitalism, Scissor Sisters, Simian Mobile Disco, Boys Noize and Sido.
I really like the following video. It's a bit smoother than the ones before:
Last but not least, one of the better known songs, which translates to "screaming once a week":
Siriusmo - Einmal in der Woche schreien
