so, what is the devil book. a devil inside the book
well it is not banned because it is a bible, of course a Devil's Bible
so this bible or the devil's book is written in the early 12th century and it is the largest book ever written
The book get the name devil because it contain a actual devil inside of it
it's not just a image it is the devil that's not scared you a lot BUT the devil is 50 cm tall in the book
Not just the devil is tall but the book [92 cm tall, 50 cm wide and 22 cm thick]
Oh it's Weighing 74.8 kg (165 lb) well you can say it as the heaviest book
About half of it consists of the entire Latin Bible the language I don't understand I translate
I mean get to the point
Now the story of the book is
It was created by Herman the Recluse in the Benedictine monastery of Podlazice
The monastery was destroyed sometime in the 15th century during the Hussite Revolution
then bought by the Benedictine monastery in Brevnov. From 1477 to 1593, it was kept in the library of a monastery in Broumov until it was taken to Prague in 1594 to form a part of the collections of the Emperor Rudolf II
And taking about the devil inside the book there is a full page depiction of the kingdom of heaven
Several pages before this are written on a blackened parchment and have a very gloomy character somewhat different
Well the reason behind is vellum it is a animal skin or membrane used as a material for writing on.
Vellum or scraped and dried animal hide tans when exposed to ultraviolet light. Over centuries the pages that were most frequently turned have developed this tell tale darker color.
Thank you, if you read up to this ^
