I am confused as to what you are saying at the start... You had a blockchain.info wallet and there was Bitcoins going in and out of your wallet without you authorizing it? Sounds really weird.

Do you use a good cold wallet now? I used to store a lot of Bitcoins on a paper wallet, but moved to a Trezor now, bet $100 I ever spent.
