I agree with you. I think the new web, or 3.0 as you say, is an endless well of resource. In our information age, the one with access to information has the most leverage.
I think that "Blockstack" is doing a very interesting proposal on what is a framework for the new internet. Privacy, full asset ownership (fully owning a Domain name), and value transfer is crucial for the new internet protocols.
Are you think of a specific project, when you say Web 3.0?
