"Shameless" is the 2nd mixtape from the Seattle/White Center based Hip Hop artist, Acid Droppin' N.M.C. A display of stoner music, wordplay, witty lyrics, with meaningful imagery about life where he grew up and the people around him. You can hear pieces of his life within his music. You can tell from the beat selection to the references, that N.M.C. isn't just a participant, but a fan of the hip hop culture. This mixtape is just an example of a student of the game, taking action for himself.
The title came from the television show that currently airs on Showtime. I felt that the show really bared some similarities in the neighborhood I grew up in and the people I've been around my whole life. Frank reminds me of a few of my uncles. The emotion and surprising twists in the show have always hit me close to home. And I've always felt pretty shameless myself. Coming from White Center, shame isn't something were exactly worried about everyday. Fuck it.
