Got bored and decided to take the experiment a bit further. This time, I wanted to try out the advertise function the platform offers.
Given Steem's current low price, I thought I could toss a few and see how it pans out. Part of me wish there was a more comprehensive guide to all the utilities, but fun is part of the journey.
To place an image ad, I visited graphicsprings.com to create a random logo, for free, to use as the template on Dclick. Since this is only an experiment, I did not spend more than five minutes on the matter. If I want to upgrade or create a serious logo for my writings, I will do so in the future.
To me, my random scribbles do not feel like they worth that much. Then again, the same goes for most content on the chain anyhow.
In a few clicks, I came up with this prototype. Nothing fancy (or original for that matter) as I sewn some stock image and font together.
We shall see what this two-Steem experiment brings. Other than that, I still have trouble typing out Dclick in one go. I often wind up typing Dlick instead.
Oh, good morning, by the way.
Update
I woke up and noticed that I already exceeded the budget I put in for the ad.
At the very least, I now know 2 Steem, or ~$0.62 at time of typing, would only last for a few hours as the clicks hit. In the future, I would have to set aside 20 Steem or so for a full day run.
