75 years ago, in the biggest landing operation the world has ever seen, Allied forces conquered the shores of France on 5 beaches in Normandy.
Within a day of Operation Overlord, they acquired all their targets and established a third front, next to the ones in Soviet Union and Italy, against Nazi occupied Europe.
