Dear Minnow,
I'm in a mixed emotional state right now as I say goodbye to 2017. All my activities during the past year are just rolling like a movie in my mind and it kinda makes me full blown emo. But I gotta let it all go. This is gonna be a new beginning and I want to have a new slate to write on.
The same should apply to you too. Thank God you are on the Steem blockchain. So its basically time to grow up. Say Goodbye to;
- childishness,
- stupidity,
- absent-mindedness,
- lack of focus,
- lack of goals,
- inability to persevere
- lack of patience
- unhealthy lifestyle
- over-dependence on others
- loneliness
- selfishness
- poverty
- borrowing
- begging etcz
THIS IS A NEW DAWN!
Yeah indeed it is a fresh new dawn. I want to draw your attention to the much-overlooked habit of writing down goals. Write down your goals because it shows clarity of thoughts which will help to propel you into actions.
GOALS MUST BE S.M.A.R.T
- SPECIFIC
- MEASURABLE
- ACHIEVABLE
- RELEVANT
- TIME-BOUND
- You can set goals on different aspects of your life. I will talk more on Steemit Goals.
NEVER LIMIT YOURSELF
- This simply means that you should open your mind and dream SO BIG that the world will be amazed. No Limits! Keep firing. Never say never. As we all know, impossible is nothing.
DON'T GIVE UP YOUR DREAMS!
- No matter what happens never give up on the road to success. Expect challenges. Plan to surmount them.
ALWAYS HAVE ALTERNATIVES
- PLAN A, PLAN B, PLAN C Upto PLAN Z if possible. People can disappoint you. Things can disappoint you. Even automated machines can glitch and disappoint you...but never you disappoint yourself.
WORK HARD, PRAY HARD!
- There's this saying;
Work as if you have no God and pray as if you never work.
- All work hand-in-hand to bring you glory!
REMEMBER TO RELAX, UNWIND & PLAY
All works and no play, makes Jack a dull boy...while all play and no works make Jack a mere toy...
- Balance is key in everything.
- Find your pleasurable leisures and have time for it
FRIENDSHIPS, CONNECTIONS, COMMUNITY!
- That's generally what steemit is about apart from the SBD
- SO don't forget to make friends...make useful connections and grow together.
HELP THOSE IN NEED.
- There are always the needy in our community...the poor...those gifted but not gifted financially....find them and help them.
- Build something that helps them with your gifts. Everyone cannot have access to everything. Some people get and give to others so that the world keeps rotating.
