I bet he was proud that he got the better deal, two pizza for 20 million US Dollars [As of bitcoin value today]. I bet he was thinking i got it for just 10000 coins [~$0.016 at that time]. Boy! would he reminiscing ever making history today - making the first transaction ever recorded on cryptocurrency.
And then there is a guy that lost over 60 grand of bitcoin when he upgraded his PC system. People? that was when bitcoin owners preferred to store it on their personal computers rather the cloud services that are in trend nowadays. A phenomenon do exist that over $900 million worth of bitcoin are forever lost. Then again there is man Dave Bitcoin [a software architect who goes by the aforementioned alias] that claim he can get lost coins back into the transacting on the blockchain.
