Hey guys, it is me! I’m back!
Today as yesterday one of the mission of the team was about the modelization of the #steemfest conference space of the event in Krakow (Poland). For this project, I selected to work on a Whisky Bar. This last was appearing in the background of the Balcony stage. That stage is where notably the team composed by ,
and
were presenting the
. It was not easy to start as we got only few pictures of that area. However, the work on this part is very slow because the letters is a long and you need to be very meticulous to make a quality work. So, indeed, we need sometimes for what can appear simple things a lot of patience to achieve quality. To begin, I made the basis of the bar.
Later on when the structure was made, I started to create the letters and positionned them on the Whisky Bar, this is the part which took me so long! However I really enjoyed the result as it will provide the user with an enhanced experience and not only a flat image put as a texture which will not render the same the light and will probably be more boring to watch.
Let's be honest it is not easy to re create an experience you did not live by yourself and not specially easy either to recreate a space you did not see. However we got a very intensive training these lasts weeks and we start to understand how to create depth which allow to explore a space with more immersion into it while having it interactive. For me even if its only a simple background element I want to recreate the depth as explained us Jean (), small details are making the difference and with a lot of those we might be able to make you travel within some of the instants of this memorable event which happenned in Poland in November 2018!
Here a picture of one of the picture we used as reference. You can see the bar on the left area of the picture.
Today, one of my colleague called Laszlo is celebrating his birthday and we are celebrating this all together! We gave him a little gift and some of us created some memes we wil maybe share tomorrow!
Also an interesting fact for today has been in the morning we have to repair a laptop. One of the Administration group member could not start her computer, so after a little troubleshooting, we successfully repaired it and then, I continued my task!
I hope you will like my post of today and enjoy it!
