I like you, I will follow you, just know that if you had showed up here a year ago, then you would have been loved and followed because those people making the most money on Steemit are successful because they were here blogging when nobody else was. The competition today is tougher. The early bird gets the worm, and you my friend are simply late to the buffet. All the blogging slots are pretty much full unless you are amazing. The open positions are for developers and for those who are promoting STEEM in their community. If you can show that you are introducing STEEM to many real people, then you will get paid. Or if you develop a STEEM APP, then you will get paid. Or if you are famous, then you will get paid. If you are not providing this type of value to the community, then simply treat STEEM as your blank canvas for your artistic expression:
