Heute habe ich für euch mal wieder Bilder von der Ruhr mitgebracht und zwar von
der Burg Volmarstein.
Today I brought some pictures of the Ruhr for you
the castle Volmarstein.
Sie wurde im Jahre 1100 von Erzbischof von Schwarzenburg erbaut.
It was built in 1100 by Archbishop of Schwarzenburg.
Leider wurde sie 1288 in der Schlacht von Worringen zerstört.
Unfortunately it was destroyed in 1288 at the Battle of Worringen.
Was mir hier oben richtig gut gefällt ist die schöne Aussicht auf die Ruhr,
What I like really well up here is the beautiful view of the Ruhr,
und wenn man alleine oben auf der Burg verweilt bemerkt man wie still es doch hier oben ist.
and if you stay alone at the top of the castle, you realize how quiet it is up here.
Für mich der richtige Ort um seine Gedanken zu sammeln und ordnen.
For me the right place to collect and organize his thoughts.
