| Hello Stemmians, after a tent night in Dali we had to leave our place in order by the authorities so we went to Chenghai lake. It's a smaller lake away from the tourists paths. The road there was quite exciting with crazy ghost driver in winding mountain roads, street crossing donkeys, goats, horses and water buffalos. After around 4.5h we arrived at the Changhai lake. After a while we found a quiet place close to the water. What I realized, It's nice to camp somewhere at a nice place but it's mostly time intensive and exhausting to find a suitable spot. We had nice 3 days here at the lake to relax and enjoy our time without car. Here some impressions. | Hallo Stemmianer, nach einer Zeltnacht in Dali mussten wir unseren Platz wegen den Behörden verlassen, also zogen wir zum Chenghai See weiter. Es ist ein kleiner See, abseits der Touristenpfade. Die fahrt dort hin war recht aufregend, mit verrückten Geisterfahrern in kurvenreichen Bergstraßen, Eseln, Ziegen, Pferden und Wasserbüffeln auf den Straßen. Nach ca. 4,5 Stunden kamen wir am Changhai See an. Nach einer Weile fanden wir einen ruhigen Platz am Wassers. Wir hatten schöne 3 Tage hier am See um sich zu entspannen und unsere Zeit ohne Auto zu genießen. So aufregend und romantisch es klingt, es strengt ganz schön an immerwieder aufs neue nach nem geigneten Platz fürs Zelt zu finden. Hier einige Eindrücke der letzten Tage. |
