Ich werde versuchen unter dieser Überschrift regelmäßig interessante Diskussionsthemen vorzustellen. Ich hoffe das die gute Beteiligung daran nicht nur darauf zurückzuführen sein wird, dass der jeweilige SBD-Auszahlungsbetrag einem der Kommentare zufallen wird.

Werden wir demnächst auf Bargeld verzichten müssen?
Die Bargeldabschaffung wird seit einigen Jahren immer mal wieder thematisiert, manche werden unsere Banknoten und Münzen schon lange nicht mehr in der Hand gehabt haben, andere bezahlen selbst größere Anschaffungen nur in bar.
Auch muss man nun die einzelnen Gruppen "Barzahler" und "Kartennutzer" bestimmt noch in verschiedene Kategorien aufteilen, alleine schon wenn man nach den Gründen für die jeweilige präferierte Bezahlmethode forscht.
Noch scheint die Beliebtheit des Bargelds bei den Deutschen ungebrochen, jedoch kann sich dies irgendwann - alleine schon durch den oft erwähnten demografischen Wandel - ändern, da gerade die "Jüngeren" anscheinend doch lieber die "Karte zücken" als das Portemonaie! (Ich weiß dass die meisten erst das Portemonnaie zücken müssen, um die jeweilige Karte herauszuholen, aber das hörte sich doch so gut an :o)

Was für Probleme siehst Du für den besagten Fall, oder meinst Du es würde sich alles zum Guten wenden?
Wäre es für dich in Ordnung, wenn es gar nicht mehr möglich wäre, einen kleinen Gefallen mit etwas "Kleingeld" zu vergüten?
Kannst Du dir einen Bettler mit Kartenlesegerät vorstellen? Kein Scherz! Wer hat denn schonmal daran gedacht, dass man ohne Bargeld nichts mehr, ohne dass es dokumentiert wird, mit seinem Geld machen kann?

Will we soon have to do without cash?
The abolition of cash has been discussed again and again for some years, some will not have had our banknotes and coins in their hands for a long time, others will pay even larger purchases only in cash.
Also one must now divide the individual groups "cash payers" and "card users" certainly still into different categories, alone already if one searches for the reasons for the respective preferential payment method.
The popularity of cash among Germans still seems to be unbroken, but this may change at some point - due to the often mentioned demographic change alone - because the "younger ones" seem to prefer to pull out their "cards" rather than their wallets! (I know that most people have to pull out their wallets to get their cards out, but that sounded so good :o)

Can you imagine a beggar with a card reader? No joke! Who has ever thought that you can't do anything with your money without cash, without it being documented?
