mein vorheriger Post wurde durch das folgende biblische Gleichnis inspiriert und ich halte es für sehr wichtig, Euch nun auch das Original aus der Bibel zu posten.

Mattäus Kapitel 20
Das Gleichnis von den Arbeitern im Weinberg
1 »Am Ende wird es in Gottes himmlischem Reich so sein wie bei einem Grundbesitzer, der frühmorgens in die Stadt ging und Arbeiter für seinen Weinberg anwarb.
2 Er einigte sich mit ihnen auf den üblichen Tageslohn und schickte sie in seinen Weinberg.
3 Gegen neun Uhr morgens ging er wieder zum Marktplatz und sah dort noch einige Leute stehen, die keine Arbeit hatten.
4 ›Geht auch ihr in meinen Weinberg‹, sagte er zu ihnen. ›Ich werde euch angemessen dafür bezahlen.‹
5 Und so taten sie es. Zur Mittagszeit und gegen drei Uhr nachmittags machte sich der Mann erneut auf den Weg und stellte weitere Arbeiter ein.
6 Als er schließlich um fünf Uhr ein letztes Mal zum Marktplatz kam, fand er dort immer noch ein paar Leute, die nichts zu tun hatten. Er fragte sie: ›Warum steht ihr hier den ganzen Tag untätig herum?‹
7 ›Uns wollte niemand haben‹, antworteten sie. ›Geht doch und helft auch noch in meinem Weinberg mit!‹, forderte er sie auf.
8 Am Abend beauftragte der Besitzer des Weinbergs seinen Verwalter: ›Ruf die Arbeiter zusammen und zahl ihnen den Lohn aus! Fang bei den letzten an und hör bei den ersten auf!‹
9 Zuerst kamen also diejenigen, die gegen fünf Uhr eingestellt worden waren, und jeder von ihnen erhielt den vollen Tageslohn.
10 Dann traten die vor, die schon früher mit der Arbeit begonnen hatten. Sie meinten, sie würden nun mehr bekommen, aber auch sie erhielten alle nur den vereinbarten Tageslohn.
11 Da beschwerten sie sich beim Grundbesitzer:
12 ›Die Leute, die du zuletzt eingestellt hast, haben nur eine Stunde gearbeitet, und du zahlst ihnen dasselbe wie uns. Dabei haben wir uns den ganzen Tag in der brennenden Sonne abgerackert!‹
13 ›Mein Freund‹, entgegnete der Grundbesitzer einem von ihnen, ›ich tue dir doch kein Unrecht! Haben wir uns nicht auf diesen Betrag geeinigt?
14 Nimm dein Geld und geh! Ich will nun einmal auch dem Letzten genauso viel geben wie dir.
15 Darf ich mit meinem Besitz denn nicht machen, was ich will? Oder bist du neidisch, weil ich so großzügig bin?‹
16 Ebenso wird es einmal bei Gott sein: Dann werden die Letzten die Ersten sein, und die Ersten die Letzten.«

1For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
2And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
3And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
4And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
5Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
6And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
7They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
8So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.
9And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
10But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
11And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
12Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
13But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
14Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
15Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
16So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

Vingårdsarbetarnas lön
"Ty med himmelriket är det, såsom när en husbonde bittida om morgonen gick ut för att leja åt sig arbetare till sin vingård.
2 Och när han hade kommit överens med arbetarna om en viss dagspenning, sände han dem till sin vingård.
3 När han sedan gick ut vid tredje timmen, fick han se några andra stå sysslolösa på torget;
4 och han sade till dem: 'Gån ock I till min vingård, så skall jag giva eder vad skäligt är.'
5 Och de gingo. Åter gick han ut vid sjätte timmen och vid nionde och gjorde sammalunda.
6 Också vid elfte timmen gick han ut och fann då några andra stå där; och han sade till dem: 'Varför stån I här hela dagen sysslolösa?'
7 De svarade honom: 'Därför att ingen har lejt oss.' Då sade han till dem: 'Gån ock I till min vingård.'
8 När det så hade blivit afton, sade vingårdens herre till sin förvaltare: 'Kalla fram arbetarna och giv dem deras lön, men begynn med de sista och gå så tillbaka ända till de första.'
9 Då nu de kommo fram, som voro lejda vid elfte timmen, fick var och en av dem full dagspenning.
10 När sedan de första kommo, trodde de att de skulle få mer, men också var och en av dem fick samma dagspenning.
11 När de så fingo, knorrade de mot husbonden.
12 och sade: 'Dessa sista hava arbetat allenast en timme, och du har ändå ställt dem lika med oss, som hava burit dagens tunga och solens hetta?'
13 Då svarade han en av dem och sade: 'Min vän, jag gör dig ingen orätt. Kom du icke överens med mig om den dagspenningen?
14 Tag vad dig tillkommer och gå. Men åt denne siste vill jag giva lika mycket som åt dig.
15 Har jag icke lov att göra såsom jag vill med det som är mitt? Eller skall du med onda ögon se på att jag är så god?' -
16 Så skola de sista bliva de första, och de första bliva de sista."
