#MittwochsQuickie Krankheiten
Der heutige Mittwoch Quickie ist sehr spannend. Was uns schon die ganze Woche beherrscht ist ja der Corona Virus. Die einen sagen so, die anderen sagen so. Einerseits glaube ich es ist viel Panikmache, Andererseits möchte ich das Thema auch nicht unterschätzen, weil ich nicht nur Verantwortung für mich trage, sondern für meinen Sohn auch.
Am Anfang habe ich sogar gedacht ein paar Wochen in die Provinz zu fahren und unseren Opa im nördlichen Ruhrgebiet zu besuchen. (Oer-Erkenschwick) Eine Stadt mit ca. 25000 Einwohnern. Da wären wir bestimmt sicherer als in Hamburg. Jetzt nachdem natürlich viel Aufklärung gesendet und geschrieben wurde weiß ich immer noch nicht genau was man glauben kann, soll, doch ich bin nicht mehr so ängstlich, wie noch vor einer Woche.
Im Moment denke ich: "Es ist eine starke Grippe so wie andere Grippen auch, nur das es noch keine Impfung bzw eine gut funktionierende getestete Therapie, Medikation gibt. Und das ist wohl noch das Problem.
Ältere Menschen und schwache Menschen, gerade Menschen mit einem schwachen Immunsystem oder auch Kinder (Kleinkinder, Säuglinge) sind natürlich besonders gefährdet. Aber müssen wir uns deshalb große Sorgen machen?
Ich weiß es nicht!!! Wie seht ihr das?

This Wednesday Quickie is very exciting. What has been dominating us all week is the Corona virus. Some say so, others say so. On the one hand I think it's a lot of panic-mongering, but on the other hand I don't want to underestimate the topic, because I'm not only responsible for myself, but also for my son.
In the beginning I even thought about going to the province for a few weeks and visiting our grandpa in the northern Ruhr area. (Oer-Erkenschwick) A town with about 25000 inhabitants. We would be safer there than in Hamburg. Now after of course a lot of enlightenment was sent and written I still don't know exactly what to believe, but I'm not as anxious as I was a week ago.
At the moment I think: "It is a strong flu like other flues, only that there is no vaccination or a well working tested therapy, medication. And that is probably still the problem.
Older people and weak people, especially people with a weak immune system or even children (infants, babies) are of course especially at risk. But do we have to worry about that?
