Nun sitze ich hier in Alicante im Café Ripoll, habe meine Morgenroutine beendet und starte gemütlich in den Tag.

Gestern war es endlich so weit: Die Hive account@buzzparty, die HIVE OPEN DAYS, wurden offiziell eröffnet. Das Ulab in Alicante ist der perfekte Ort für solch eine Veranstaltung – Hut ab, was hier auf die Beine gestellt wurde! Das Kurioseste und Lustigste an der ganzen Sache war wohl das „Human Bingo“.

Ein Spiel, bei dem man verschiedene Typen von Hive-Usern finden muss, um seine Karte vollzubekommen. Bingo! Das kurze Briefing und das Buffet haben dem Ganzen die Krone aufgesetzt. Unglaublich – und das alles für nur 20 HBD. Ein Besuch lohnt sich definitiv, denn in erster Linie geht es darum, Interessenten über Hive aufzuklären und vor allem international neue Leute kennenzulernen.

Mit den Usernamen habe ich es noch nicht ganz so, aber es war mir eine Ehre, Hive account@tibfox, Hive account@livinguktaiwan, Hive account@ninaeatshere, Hive account@alessandrawhite und Hive account@haastrecht (und viele mehr!) ein wenig näher kennenlernen zu dürfen. Eins vorweg: Da folgt noch einiges! Der große After-Report mit vielen Fotos kommt nach dem Wochenende.

Nach dem Abendessen ging es für mich dann noch in den Club JalaJala Disco, um ein bisschen Salsa zu genießen.

Die HIVE OPEN DAYS sind eröffnet, Hive account@schmidi ist mittendrin und es kann eigentlich nur legendär werden. ;-) Wir sehen uns auf der Straße, bei den Vorträgen oder in den Bars und Clubs!

Now I’m sitting here in Alicante at Café Ripoll, finished my morning routine, and I'm starting the day at a relaxed pace.

Yesterday was finally the day: Hive account@buzzparty and the HIVE OPEN DAYS were officially kicked off. The Ulab in Alicante is the perfect venue for an event like this – hats off to the organizers for what they’ve put together here! Probably the most curious and fun part of the story was the "Human Bingo."

It’s a game where you have to find different types of Hive users to complete your card. Bingo! The quick briefing and the buffet topped it all off. Unbelievable, and all that for just 20 HBD. It’s definitely worth a visit, especially since the main goal is to introduce newcomers to Hive, educate them, and, above all, connect with people from all over the world.

I’m still struggling a bit with all the usernames, but it was an honor to get to know Hive account@tibfox, Hive account@livinguktaiwan, Hive account@ninaeatshere, Hive account@haastrecht, @Alessandrawhite and many others a little better. Just a heads-up: there’s more to come! My big after-action report with plenty of photos will be posted after the weekend.

Last night, I headed to the JalaJala Disco club to enjoy some Salsa.

The HIVE OPEN DAYS are officially open, Hive account@schmidi is right in the thick of it, and it’s bound to be legendary. ;-) See you on the streets, at the talks, or in the bars and clubs!
