Devil's Theorem

I used to escalate
Now I elevate
Time for nothing he said

"So what's the plan?" the devil in the checkered shirt asked.
"The plan? Hmm" I said fumbling my notes.
Of course the notes were just random scrawls
Unnecessary and merely a prop for show
"Devil's theorem" I said.
His fingers pressed into the firm wood of the mahogany table
Unable to hold back some sort of excitement or pleasure
"CIA linchpin theory
Mixed with a splash of Russian troll control
And built like a Satoshi Nakamoto Trojan horse
A perfection of system warfare"
The devil in the checkered shirt grinned
"Sounds like Devil Theory"
"Devil theory?"
"Devil theory is the belief that social, economic, and political crises arise from deliberate actions of evil (or misguided) leaders and not of natural system result"
"But what is evil?" I asked the devil.
He laughed "We all hurt each other through our very existence"
I didn't understand.
