Blessings, fellow members of this great community! Today I'm going to show you my new drawing. As usual, it's dedicated to one of the beautiful and fantastic cards in the game. For this one, I chose card E229, Gold Earthworm. As you can see on the cover of the drawing, it's a lovely microphone that, judging by its name, appears to be made of gold. What I like most about it is its design; it's very different from the other microphones I've painted in the past. This one is much more cylindrical, almost resembling a small drum.
In my drawing, I've tried to capture that same design and golden color. You can tell me at the end of the post if I managed to get close to the original design, which I think is a bit retro. Now, I'm going to show you step by step how I did it. To begin, I drew what would be the inner frame of the card.
With the frame ready, I was then able to draw part of the microphone's edge and then the entire main silhouette of the body. This resulted in a sort of empty main sketch. Now you'll see in the next step how it comes to life with some extra details.
In the details section, I've added the missing top part, which is where the musician sings and where the sound is picked up. I also added some decorative elements on the microphone body in the form of triangular grooves; these are what give it its characteristic shape.
Now it's time to paint. I'll show you in several screenshots how I painted each part. This step is definitely the most fun, as always. Here are the screenshots.
And to finish, I'll show you the result of the fully painted microphone.
To certify that the drawing is finished, I'm showing you the stamp I always add at the end with the name of the game and the card. It's like a certificate of completion. I always like to add it. Now all that's left is for you to give me your opinion on the drawing. See you in the next one, blessings.
