Good morning! I hope you're enjoying your coffee and having a blessed day. Today, I'm going to show you the drawing I made of a new card from the game that I painted. It's an amplifier. It's the one on card E299, Galaxy NV 100. As you can see, it's a very nice model with a retro design and analog buttons. This is one of the ones I've enjoyed making the most this week. In this post, I'm going to show you how I did it step by step so you have an example if you want to make one too.
Okay, let's get down to business. To start this drawing, I used Adobe Illustrator to create the inner frame of the card. Those who have been following my blog for a while know that this is always my first step. I do it first because it helps me define the size of what goes inside. In this case, it turned out like this:
Once I finished the frame, I drew the body of the amplifier. This has an almost perfectly rectangular shape, except for the slightly curved ends. I made it that way because that's how it is in the original card. After finishing the body, I drew what would be the amplifier's legs on the bottom.
In the next step, I started painting. First, I drew what would be the background of the card. I chose orange as the predominant color because it's the most abundant color in the original card. I painted the frame purple, the inner background various shades of blue, and the amplifier itself various shades of orange.
In the next step, I added each of the buttons and knobs. As you can see, it has two large ones on the left side and three smaller ones in the center. The other elements I added are LED indicators and analog inputs.
To finish the drawing, I added the many ventilation grilles that the device has. In real life, these allow the device to maintain a stable temperature. With that final detail, the amplifier was finished.
And to say goodbye for today, here's the finished drawing. See you in the next one. It was a pleasure painting this amplifier for you. Blessings to all.
