I'm very happy to bring you a new drawing, fellow members of this lovely community. Today, as is customary here on my blog, I chose one of the beautiful cards from the Rising Star game. It's the i199 Recorder. It's a classical flute. It has a lovely milky brown color. This type of flute is related to recorders, which I've painted for you here on my blog in the past. So, without further ado, let's begin. To start the drawing, I first drew the card's frame, specifically just the inner part, as I wanted to focus on the instrument itself.
Once the frame was ready, I moved on to drawing the central part of the flute inside. I started there because it's the easiest part to draw, as it has the straightest sides. After doing that, I drew the mouthpiece where the air is blown and the lower flared part where the air comes out to produce the instrument's sound. As you can see, starting from the center was very helpful for painting the rest later.
Continuing with the drawing, after finishing both steps, I drew the divisions of the flute inside the sketch so that it would be in sections, which would later help me paint it more easily. With those details, the sketch was finished.
The next step was the painting, as you know, the most fun to watch. I used a light orange color for the background to make the inside of the drawing stand out. For the frame, since this is a regular card, I used a blue color, and the same for the inner background. As for the flute, I used a combination of light brown and milky brown. Look at the whole process.
And to finish, here I show you the final result. See you in the next drawing. Blessings to all.
