Back again, blessings to all. Today I've drawn another Pro card. As you may remember from my recent posts, I'm doing a series of drawings of Pro musical instruments, and today I'm continuing it. This time I chose the Pro 007 Karaoke Mic. As you can see, it's a really nice microphone. According to the card's name, this microphone is made for karaoke, meaning it's for home use. You know, the typical microphone that comes with all modern TVs so you can sing along to karaoke at home. I've had several.
Here's a fun fact: this microphone isn't exclusive to Pro cards; you can also find it on regular cards. So, I'm going to show you how I made this drawing. To start, I drew the frame. This frame is the piece that will contain everything else inside; I call it the canvas.
After drawing the frame, I drew the microphone handle and then part of the lower antenna, since this microphone is most likely used wirelessly. In addition to that, I also drew the outline of the top part, the part responsible for capturing the voice in real life.
With those things finished, I then drew several internal lines inside the microphone to better define each internal area. Now all that's left is to fill it in with color, but you'll see that in the next step. First, I'll show you the finished sketch.
Now it's time to paint. I used a deep blue to paint the background of the drawing. I painted the frame light purple. I painted the inner background blue and purple. And the microphone is black, gray, and yellow. I painted each part in that order; see how I did it.
In the final painting step, I added the grilles of the audio pickup area with a spray effect and generally polished the drawing.
And to finish for today, I'll show you the finished drawing. See you in the next one.
