I wish you all many blessings on this new day. Today I'm going to show you step-by-step the drawing I made inspired by the PRO 037 Yellow DJ Mic card from the game. As you can see, it's a microphone from the Pro cards. It's been a while since I've drawn one of these cards, and I thought it would be great to share it with you today in a drawing. The microphone isn't exclusive to the Pro cards, as it's also among the common cards, but that doesn't make it any less interesting.
To begin the drawing, I started by drawing the frame, followed by the microphone handle. You know, this is the part you hold it by, or the part you can use in real life to put it on a tripod or stand. I drew this in Adobe Illustrator, using the original as a reference. After that, I drew the top sphere, which is what would capture the sound of the DJ's voice. The sphere always reminds me of an ice cream cone.
Okay, after that, I drew what would be the microphone cable under the handle. Interestingly, this part is removable in real life; the cable isn't soldered to the microphone body, which allows it to be stored. I also drew some internal divisions so that each part is clearly visible. With that, the sketch was finished.
Now comes the fun part: filling the entire sketch with color. I used blue as the predominant color, both for the inner and outer background. This color is the same as the background of the original card. To paint with the same color, I used the eyedropper tool to get the same color palette. I already did this in the IbisPaint app, which is what I use for coloring. The other colors are yellow for the microphone, which is its most distinctive feature. But instead of telling you the order in which I painted, it's more fun to see the steps. Here they are.
In the last painting step, I drew the power button and filled in the audio pickup sphere with a spray effect. I don't know the technical name, so I'll call it that, haha. See how it turned out.
And to finish, here's the final result. See you in the next one. Blessings to all.
