Fellow Rising Star members, I'm very happy to show you my latest drawing. This one is of a pro card from the instrument section. For those who haven't read it, I'm doing a series of drawings dedicated to this section of pro cards. Today's drawing is of the Pro 052 IC 54. As you can see, it's a nice microphone. This microphone can also be found on the regular cards. That is to say, it's part of both sections, pro and regular cards.
Okay, so now I'm going to show you how I made this drawing from beginning to end. The tools I used to create the drawing were Adobe Illustrator for the creation and design of the main sketch and IbisPaint for the painting. The first step was to make the classic card frame.
Once I had that ready, I moved on to drawing what would be the microphone handle. When I finished that, I drew the top ball, which is responsible for capturing the audio in real life. It's starting to look a lot like a microphone.
But to make it look nicer, I added some internal divisions. That way, each part can be appreciated better. I also added the bottom area for connecting a cable, in real life, of course. And with that, the sketch of the drawing was finished.
Now all that was left was to start painting. I used orange as the predominant color; I took this color from the word "pro" in the title of the original card. For that, I used the eyedropper tool in IbisPaint. I painted the frame purple and the inner background various shades of blue. The microphone is black and gray. Now you'll see how I applied these colors step by step in the following screenshots.
And to finish, here's the finished drawing. I'd love to know what you think. See you in the next one. Blessings to all.
