As I promised yesterday, I'm back today with this week's series of drawings of Pro cards from the game. This is the second microphone I've drawn from the Pro cards. It's the Pro 094 IC21x. As you can see, it's a nice light blue microphone. I love the color, especially the line down the middle with the gradient blue. I included those details in my drawing just like they are on the original card. In fact, you already saw a preview of the drawing on the cover, but what I'm going to show you now is even more interesting: the step-by-step development of the drawing from beginning to end.
I don't know about you, but I prefer seeing the development of things rather than just seeing them finished. That's why I'm showing you the entire drawing process below. To begin, as usual, I started by drawing the card's frame. It turned out like this:
With the frame done, I moved on to drawing the microphone's ball, that is, the top part. Then I drew the handle. The truth is, it looked like an ice cream cone, something I always mention because it makes me laugh so much. In fact, I'll fill in the shape of a microphone like this one someday, like an ice cream cone. That way, I can make a slightly different kind of fan art and take advantage of the microphone's curious design, which is very similar.
In the next step, I added the microphone's internal divisions so that each area would be clearer. This helps me later to paint each part the correct color, and the division between them is visible, preventing them from blending together. With that, the sketch was finished.
Now comes the painting. It was fun painting each part, especially because, as I said before, the blue gradients on this microphone are very pretty. I started by painting the outer background yellow; I took this color from the letters PRO. After that, I painted the frame purple and the inner background, along with the microphone, in various shades of blue. See the whole process.
And to finish, here's the finished drawing. See you in the next one. Blessings to all.
