Blessings, everyone. Today in this post, I'm going to show you step-by-step how I drew the R561 D90 Custom microphone. As you can see, it's a custom microphone, so it's different from the ones I've done before, which have the same shape. This design includes different colors like purple and pink, which make it look nicer and, above all, stand out from the other microphones in the game. In my drawing, I tried to be faithful to the original design and colors; you can tell me what you think later.
Okay, I started by drawing the inner frame of the card. To do this, I used the layer overlay tool in Adobe Illustrator. This tool allowed me to make the frame look similar and with rounded corners without any major problems. You'll see the result in the next screenshot.
I continued the drawing by drawing the microphone handle, that is, the central and larger part. To explain it simply, that's what you hold when you're going to sing, lol. It's also used to put it on a stand. Following that, I drew part of the top section, the one that would actually capture the sound. I drew half of that sphere.
In the next section, where I usually add the details, I drew the different internal sections that were missing, dividing them with lines. I always do this because it helps me define the area to draw and shows me where each line should end. And to finish the sketch, I added the rest of the sphere that was missing; I call it the talking sphere, but I'm sure it has a more technical name. If you know it, please tell me. Lmao.
Now for the painting, as you know, this is step 5. You'll see in the following screenshots how I painted each area of the microphone. I remind you that to get the same colors as the original card, I use the eyedropper tool in IbisPaint, the application I use for painting. It allows me to pick the color and then paint over it. I'm sure you already know it because it's a classic feature in all painting apps. I'll show you the painting steps.
And to say goodbye for today, here's the final result. See you in the next drawing, blessings to all.
