Colleagues, today I'm sharing my latest drawing. It's a new card from the game that I've painted. Specifically, it's the R527 SA7 Rust card. It's a microphone, one of the musical instruments. As you can see, it has a golden, almost cylindrical shape, which makes it very beautiful and elegant. Looking at it, I think it's a classic retro design, since it's not common to see that style nowadays. But it's still very nice; I love classic and retro styles.
So now I'll tell you how I did it. I started by opening the IbisPaint X application on my PC. And I created the inner frame of the card. This frame is square with curved and rounded edges. It turned out like this.
Next, I drew the microphone in the center of the frame. I first drew the handle, that is, the part the singer holds or the part used to mount it on a tripod. Then I painted the top part, which is where you speak, the part that picks up the sound.
In the next step I drew several lines to delimit the drawing area, since each one has different colors, and also those lines serve to make it look nicer just like it is in the example card.
With the sketch finished, I started painting everything. As you can see, I used a color palette very similar to the one on the original card. To get those colors, I use Paint's eyedropper tool, which allows me to get the exact same color as on the original card and makes painting easier. Now I'll show you how it turned out. I used shades of blue and gold.
And finally, colleagues, here's the finished drawing. I hope you liked it. Blessings to all. Cheers!
