Since posting about this little creation of mine last week I have seen very little use of it and wanted to re-post about this helpful tool (IMO) so that more of you can give it a try. I have been extremely busy outside of steemit world (not to mention sick) so I'm sorry I haven't been as active but I will soon be getting back into the swing of things after a quick little trip to Amsterdam ;) See you there!
http://dirtyimg.com is a smart Steemit image hosting alternative to SteemIMG that holds uploaded images for 15 minutes (just long enough for you to create and publish a steemit post) and then clean them (deletes completely off my server). This method of temporary image hosting utilizes Steemit's img1.steemit.com cached image protocol by giving img1.steemit.com a location of a image to cache and then deleting the original. The original is completely unneeded for images within posts & comments to be viewed here on Steemit.com.
Also that image above is still just living on steemit and has been gone for over a week from dirtyIMG
