En la primera observación de una obra artística, ésta ha de crear interés, curiosidad, llamar la atención inmediata de los espectadores. Luego, viene el estudio de su ejecución, de su técnica, según el tipo de arte del que se trate.
In the first observation of an artistic work, it has to create interest, curiosity, to call the immediate attention of the spectators. Then comes the study of its execution, of its technique, according to the type of art in question.
En el caso de Inés Villeparisis, estamos ante una artista plural: fotografía, pintura, diseño y escenografía. Una artista que no deja indiferente al espectador en sus trabajos, y que obliga a ensimismarse en toda su obra, sea cual sea en sus variadas ejecuciones. Nos encontramos, por tanto, ante una artista que no es muy habitual en los circuitos institucionalizados del arte en Alicante, caracterizados estos por ser excesivamente continuistas; ella, en cambio, trabaja con unos referentes no tan circunscritos al espacio local, sino con espíritu más aperturista y global.
In the case of Inés Villeparisis, we are before a plural artist: photography, painting, design and scenography. An artist who does not leave the spectator indifferent in her works, and who forces us to become engrossed in all her work, whatever its varied executions may be. We find ourselves, therefore, before an artist who is not very common in the institutionalized art circuits in Alicante, characterized by being excessively continuist; she, on the other hand, works with references not so circumscribed to the local space, but with a more open and global spirit.
Con seguidores de lugares tan distantes como USA, Corea, México, y con un trabajo artístico cercano al Nuevo Arte Contemporáneo, (el post-grafiti, el pop surrealismo o el nuevo pop art) y que lo hace diferenciarse y crear su propia huella. Una obra que en cualquiera de sus expresiones va cargada de cierto barroquismo y de un gusto por los detalles, llenando así el espacio de elementos y colores que conjuntamente crean un discurso muy personal de todo aquello que le interesa a la artista.
With followers from places as distant as the USA, Korea, Mexico, and with an artistic work close to the New Contemporary Art, (post-graffiti, pop surrealism or new pop art) and that makes it stand out and create its own mark. A work that in any of its expressions is loaded with a certain baroque and a taste for detail, filling the space with elements and colors that together create a very personal discourse of everything that interests the artist.
