In our short time in China we used many lavatories, from zero-star public washrooms in small villages to amazing 5 star 'all the bells and whistles' facilities in our equally 5 star hotel rooms. But this was the only time we actually saw a sign with a rating! I found this on a small street inside the Forbidden City in Beijing, about half-way through our tour of this amazing complex. Obviously our guide knew where to have our short rest stop. And of course the colour of the door matched the dominant colour of all the buildings in the Forbidden City.
