These are for a challenge from and
I can't remember which is which challenge oops!
These shots are a little bit long distance from across the bay. I wanted to show the entire house and i couldn't get them all in the frame from the sidewalk in front so i went over to the beach on the other side of the bay.
The first photo is one of the oldest homes in Naples. The new owners have done a really nice job in fixing it up without ruining it. No small feat it seems these days
This next one is another older home nicely taken care of. For the first i'm really seeing the second floor balcony, windows and details that you can't see from below on the sidewalk. That's pretty funny to me seeing as i've lived here since the early sixties! Amazing what a telephoto lens can show you about things you are too close to to actually see when you're standing right in front of something.
This is what i would call Mid Century Modern. Simple but nicely proportioned and fantastic views of the bay.
Now i might add a funny little bit here. Some people have telescopes in their homes in the upper floors. For looking out at the water and boats right? Well back in the 70's it was a little different concept sometimes
Scene from the movie 10
Faux Cape Cod style?
