I have pussy dogs. They are little ankle biting things that won't walk on black plastic and hate to get their feed wet. They will sit there at the edge of the sidewalk and refuse to move while they stair at the plastic in the yard in front of them. So to keep from having to carry the little turds to the grass to do their business, I built them a bridge over the plastic so they don't have to step on it. I also added lights so they can see the edge and won't fall off.
