It’s the responsibility of coaches, parents, and caring adults to make sports positive experiences for our kids. There are three most important factors that , if considered in choosing sports for your children, can make them happy in sports and give them safe sport experience: These are : (i) Health-related sports that help them in their development; (ii) Academics: Research has shown a strong relationship between physical activity and academic performance; therefore a sport should not be stressful for the child, because it can have negative impact on their memory and other cognitive functions; (iii) Social and Emotional support: Children should be supported socially and emotionally by parents and coaches.
