This is a commendable effort by one of the state governments in India.
India is the second most populous country in the world and Andhra Pradesh is just one of the 29 states in India, with a population of only about 50 million people.
In the circumstances, although it is commendable of the Andhra Pradesh state government to embark on such a project, it is meaningless unless at least half of the other states in India follow suit.
