Black Widow is almost regular in MCU movies. It's almost a decade that she's been appearing, and finally, she's having her standalone movie. The reason why it took so long is the reluctance to produce a standalone female superhero movie. However, after the success of Wonder Woman, and the high anticipation on the upcoming Captain Marvel, Black Widow will finally have its own movie.
