Diverting the interest of blockchain from investments to real-world utility is the goal that developers must aim to lead the industry in gaming, but how do you bring traditional gamers into the blockchain space?
This is a good, in depth article about the prospects for gaming on blockchain, and features a few current examples. is mentioned, with a breif review.
The author is sponsored by Mythereum, which they go into alot more detail. It sounds vaguely similar to steemmonsters, but with a few twists. The big feature is interoperability, which means other NFT cards (like kryptokitties) can be used in game.
This is a key feature I'd love to see come to steemmonsters. Having separate games developed that we can use our cards on would add more value to our decks in a big way. I believe that the steemmonsters team have designed the system to accommodate this, but nothing (to my knowledge, correct me if I am wrong) is out there yet.
A good (lengthy) article, well worth a read if you are interested in blockchain gaming.
Thanks for reading and have a great day everyone,
John.
