Siachen is termed as the world’s highest battlefield as it is located at a height of 18000 ft above sea level and lies in the LoC (Line of Control) area for which India and Pakistan is fighting since 1984. Being 78 km long, Siachen is known as the longest glacier in the Karakoram territory.
