My uncle is a mechanic for Waste management.
He cam by last June and said solid authority will replace
all truck on the road to pick up trash.
Instead of two or three guys, it will be one.
Just the truck and the driver, no more helper.
Couple days I did received a letter stating how they will pick up the trash.
Friday I received a big trash can.
I can start using it by October first.
One factor that I like and the saving on me as homeowner.
I will look for that saving.
At the same time, quite a few people will be without job.
Hopefully this is the busy season.
Good time to go look for job.
The system is not new in the area.
I have seen couple cities implemented this way
a while ago.
Now it is widespread touching the unincorporated area.
No every body is on board with it.
I did not know they carry different size.
I know I have the big size 96 gallons.
Pickup is twice a week.
They were trying to cut it once a week
but my community said no.
Tough to have trash around for seven days.
I was surprised to see an article about it.
Now I have to clean and dispose of the other two small ones I was using.
By the way due to Dorian, the truck was coming a day late.
Glad to get back to regular schedule.
